Hexham Winter Gardens At A Glance
Hexham Winter Gardens is a spectacular venue for weddings as it’s a quirky DIY wedding venue that allows you to personalise every aspect of your wedding day. Found in beautiful Hexham, you’ll be at the centre of a historic market town with a stunning abbey and a rich cultural heritage.
The venue is a beautiful glasshouse, a former Victorian extension of the Tynedale Hydropathic Hotel, that can accommodate up to 150 guests. The glasshouse is filled with natural light and has a rustic and pretty atmosphere perfect to be decorated with flowers, foliage and all sorts of DIY creations.
The venue also has a wood panelled hall with a stage and seating for up to 80 guests. The hall is perfect for the band and dancing in the evening, and can be decorated with canopy lighting and a neon sign for a fun vibe.
Not only that, but there’s a walled garden for intimate photos of just you and your partner. The garden is landscaped with mature trees and plants, and offers a tranquil and romantic setting for your special day.
The venue is licensed for marriage, so you can have your ceremony and reception in the same place. You can also hire external caterers and provide your own bar, which gives you more flexibility and control over your budget. The venue does not have accommodation on site, but there are plenty of hotels and B&Bs nearby.
