Conny & Theresa’s Real Provence Wedding

I have always had a bit of love affair with France; especially the South of France, Provence, Cote D’Azur and the French Riviera so it was such a pleasure to go back there for Conny & Theresa beautifully Boho Provence Wedding. From Theresa’s first email I knew how warm and fun these two were. I was made to feel like one of the family and laughed all day.

” We were drawn to SJ’s LIGHT, ETHEREAL and DREAM-LIKE images.

I could tell that I’d feel super comfortable and at ease with you around. She is brilliant at capturing a fun and relaxed atmosphere, which is exactly how I wanted our day to feel.

I felt very at ease with her presence and I think that allowed her to capture some really gorgeous shots.  She made us laugh so much, it never felt awkward or posed.

…SJ’s has captured all of our most special moments from the day and turned them into ethereal art with an effortless feel. Aside from being very talented and producing beautiful images, SJ just pours so much love into her work, it melts my heart, and we will truly treasure our photos.

HONESTLY, SJ WAS THE EASIEST & BEST DECISION I MADE!

As a destination wedding bride, challenges and worries are multiplied with suppliers from all over, requests lost in translation and laissez-faire attitudes but SJ was so organised, utterly dependable and responded promptly to every email that I felt completely reassured with her.

…I felt like the luckiest bride ever that you could squeeze us in. We loved having you there.”

Provence At A Glance

If my husband and I were to get married again, it would be in Provence, a region in the south of France that has everything I love: beautiful scenery, sunny weather, rich culture, and delicious food. Provence has so many options for wedding venues, from cozy farmhouses to elegant chateaux. Some of the places that I adore are Château d’Estoublon, a stunning estate surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, and Les Confines, a charming villa with a pool and a lavender field – beautiful for Provence Wedding Photography!

From May to October, the region enjoys warm and sunny days that are ideal for outdoor weddings. Imagine saying “I do” under a clear blue sky, with the scent of lavender in the air and the sound of cicadas in the background. It would be like a fairy tale come true.

The region has a long and rich history that is reflected in its art, music, literature, and architecture. I can explore the fascinating sights and sounds of Provence, such as Avignon and its medieval palace, Isle-sur-la Sorgue and its antique markets, Roussillon and its colourful cliffs, and many more. I can also experience the Provençal lifestyle by relaxing at a café, playing petanque, or sipping pastis.

The region has a mouthwatering cuisine that uses fresh and local ingredients, such as garlic, olive oil, herbs, tomatoes, melons, etc. I can also enjoy the wines produced in the region, especially the Provençal rosé (a favourite of this wedding photographer Provence!) that is perfect for summer weddings. I can’t wait to share these culinary delights with my guests and make them feel happy and satisfied.
